Due to the poor performance of the Captain, the starship was captured by the Klingons. Since the Klingons now have knowledge of Federation technology, there is doubt as to the chances of the Federation in the Klingo-Romulan War. Charges of treason are being filed, pending further investigation and eventual trial.
